CEL at 65k miles

CEL at 65k miles
I know this has probably been covered already but can not find info...Does the CEL on at 65k an indicator of scheduled service required? I have an '04 RX8.
I know that older cars did this in the early days of electronics in vehicles. The CEL is not flashing but came on steady at exactly 65k.

You more than likely have an issue and need to get your codes scanned.
Some auto parts stores do it for free.
Do it ASAP.
