Hi all,

I've got my 2005 "8" up on the lift as some pitting rust is coming through on the sill and I want to put a stop to it. I have removed the plastic sill plate and fond those lovely big drain holes that are large enough to feel if there is rust on the inside, and all seems ok. Anyway back on topic, I removed the 2 bolts holding the bottom of the front wing onto the still and there is quite a lot of surface rust around that join, unsurprisingly.

So I had a peek and it seems to me there is a good chance the front wing is just bolted on to the body? I've done a search around but I can't fid a DIY or guide for removing the front wing. If anyone can point me in the right direction or offer any tips, it would be really appreciated.

I'll try and take some photos of my removal as I go to help others out as well...
