Finally an Owner

OK, been a member forever because I've always wanted one.

Well today that happened. Picked up a 'like new', 2004 with 64k miles. It's super sweet.

Probably going to need brakes real soon. It's still bone stock and I'll probably keep it that way.

Very familiar with forums, I'm a lifer over at the fjrforum and now how brutal people can be on noobs.

I am a noob, I'll do my best to use the search function

Feel free though to point out any *Must Do's* to my new ride so that I can have one of those RX8's with 200k miles on them some day.

Thanks, and yes it is.

Life gets in the way sometimes. I have way too many kids (5), so it took a while That and I had to wait until they depreciated enough to be in my budget.

2004/GT/Red/Red/Black interior/61k miles and it's like frickin new. I think I stole it for $7400.00 but you can correct me if I'm wrong

I would be the third owner, first owner was literally a little old lady, who put 50k miles on her, got a check engine light, and parked it for almost a year.

2nd owner was an aircraft mechanic, who nursed it back to life (put a coil in it) and put 11k miles on it.

Now she's mine.

I have a new rear lens and gasket cause it leaks in the trunk ready to install. I'm fairly handy and will probably attempt most things myself.

Off to read all the stickies.

Nice Ride!

As for pointers to reading material....

Check out the threads in my signature. The first $100 thread is a good one for '04s. It really helped mine.

Awesome, on that like white on rice...

I can see I'm not going to get much work done today.

Can the service manual be downloaded anywhere as a PDF as opposed to hitting the web everytime?
