I know this should go in the Good Guy / Bad Guy forum, but as I'm a n00b, I can't post in that forum until July 14 or whenever my account is active for a month.

But given that he's still trying to sell off extra parts from his car, I thought I'd at least give Jake a positive shout-out.

You see, I am the one who bought his RX-8, and it has lived up to all of my expectations short of the compression test which I neglected to get done. Serves me right for not finding out about this forum until after I bought the car (have spent hours/day reading it since).

Anyhow, he really kept his car in nice shape, and he was very nice and helpful, even after he sold it to me and I had a couple odds and ends that needed taken care of.

He only has a few items left for sale, but he's a stand-up guy and I wanted to throw that out there.

 

I remember Jake33. I never knew he sold his rx8 already, but at least you know that he took good care of it. You should take care of it too, and when it's time to sell it, the next owner will give you a good recommendation like what you did with Jake...good luck with it.

 

He's a good guy. Picked up a dead piston plush from him haha'
