Just wanted to say hi and introduce myself. From the Houston area.

Hi guys. Thought I would post up and say hi. I have been on the forum for a few years now, just haven't posted. I have an 06 phantom blue sport with 60k on the clock. Engine and cat replaced at 55k. I replaced the coils, wires and plugs with the new engine. Right now the only performance mods are a custom flowmaster cat back, racing beat revi intake, and lightweight w/p and alt. pulleys. I also have a racing beat aluminum flywheel on standby for when the clutch finally goes, which is going to be sooner than later I think. I also built a custom C-west style wing for, and have the front wheel mud guards. The wing and mud guards are also on standby until I can paint the whole car. It has some hail damage and some other minor body issues. Hopefully the new paint and body work will all be done by the end of this summer.

A little about me... I am a gear head, and a long time rotary fan. My first car was a first gen rx7, and I currently own 4 first gen rx7 project cars. I currently work mainly as a collision repair tech and mechanic. I used to do high end customs and restorations, and still do that on the side sometimes. I live in a small (but quickly growing) town called magnolia, about 20 miles north of Houston. I am a member of the Houston rx club forum, but haven't been to any meetings. Unfortunately I just can't get out of work in time to make it down to the meetings.

Anyway, I guess that's all for now. Just wanted to say hi and introduce myself.

Thanks for the welcome 200mph. I have read most of the stickies, and most of everything else. Been lurking here for years and have kept up with most of the info. Here is a pic of my car from when I first got it. Don't have any newer pics, but it basically looks the same now, except for the wing, and its really dirty at the moment. Lol....

Hey there!

Welcome to the forums.
I'm in the Houston area as well

I noticed you said you do bodywork.
Would you happen to be able to roll fenders by any chance or know of some good shops that can do it for decent price :P?

25MM spacers with Koni Yellows and S-techs springs are making it pretty close to rub on the rear fenders for me. Might be even more close after an alignment lolz.

Thanks for the welcome. Most reputable shops should be able to roll the fenders for you not sure how much they would charge, but it shouldn't be too much. Next time I have my car on the lift I will take a closer look at it. Sometimes it can be a pain depending where the welds are on the pinch weld.
