Hey guys, I have a 2004 rx8 with 25k miles on the new engine, last night while i was driving the engine just shut off completely out of no where, while the car was still moving i tried to use the rest of the speed to try to "push start" dumping the clutch, but it still wont start. so i pulled over, the car wont crank, no cranking sound at all, the car is still out there on the side of the street, spark plugs are new just changed them, anyone have any idea what might be wrong? i did notice that the red key light blinks faster then normal what does that mean?

But everything is on, lights on radio is on

 

check all fuses... drivers side door and under the hood. the most critical being the big ol 120A one attached to the fuse/relay box under your hood.

chances are you'll find a blown fuse and replace it to only have it pop again. troubleshooting electronics issues are oh so much fun.

Okay guys i've figured it out, the problem was the EGI Comp 2 10v fuse blew out, now everything is working again
