WHY: In May 1967, Mazda began selling the world's first dual-rotor rotary engine car! So our Rotary Invasion is also a Rotary Celebration!

TIMELINE:
• 5:30 AM - Staging at Shell Gas Station
• 5:50 AM - Roll out to C&C
• 6:00 AM - Rotary Invasion of C&C
• 8:00 AM - The Locally Famous Free Raffle
• 8:30 AM - Roll out to IHOP
• 8:50 AM - Lets Eat I’m Hungry!
• 11:30 AM - Go Home People!

Here is a more detailed look of our staging area and designated parking.

Remember you will be identified at the Staging Area if your vehicle will be on the main lot.
Once you are chosen we would like you to fall in the following order at the Staging Line.

ORDER OF MARCH:
RE Exotics (RX3, REPU etc),
Early RX7s,
FCs,
FDs,
RX8s

The intent of this is to show the progression of the Rotary Car when we roll in to C&C and of course the WOW that's cool factor!
Please follow the exact route when entering the MNAO Lot as C&C wants us to take that route for maximum exposure when we roll in.

Remember our designated parking area is adjacent to the 5 FWY.
The first car in will need to park to the far left of our designated parking area and ensure everyone else follows suit.





Spoke with C&C last week and they're very excited to host us and have reserved 20-30 spots.

They would have given us more but with no C&C this past weekend (4 MAY 13), they're expecting a Full House next week so we need to be considerate of others coming to exhibit their cars

Lets make sure we represent the Rotary Community well, so the 20-30 cars entering the main stage should be in great condition and ready to show.

Think SevenStock courtyard worthy because that's about how much space we'll have.

Everyone is welcome to join us and hang out for the day and those that aren't part of the 20-30 cars will simply be in the stand by lot/parking structure.

I'm always happy to see more rotaries at C&C Irvine... but I don't think there will be a show on the 4th.

Just a thought. If you give yourselves an extra week to get everyone's attention and make it the following Saturday, May 18th you could double your pleasure and we all could caravan to this afterward. Extra bonus they'll feed you with all the open bar bq'd hamburbers and hotdogs you can eat, sodas and water you can drink, and all the live dj music you could want as extra reward:

Ugghh was planning to go to this. it would've been my first time to C&C but my 8 just spat a check engine light at me out of no where a couple days ago. it's gonna be sitting in the shop at Neptunes Speed for a while...

Just got a call from Mazda Advertising/Marketing...Mazda caught wind of our Rotary Invasion of C&C and they confirmed that they will be sending out a photographer at the staging area and show area.
