I am very sad/angry to say that someone has keyed my car down 3 panels and the front bumper and it cannot be buffed out. Even with connections the best a friends shop could do for fixing it correctly was $1200 for both bumpers, door and that one side panel.

I've bought the touch up (Velocity Red Mica, tri-coat yay!) and am afraid to touch my car with it even after reading the instructions I am afraid that I will ruin it even more.

Is there anyone in the Houston area that would take pity on me, or recommend something? I am sorta getting hopeless and already have registered for All Team Bash. I could almost cry everytime I see my RX-8.

Anyways if anyone has any suggestions I would be happy to hear them. (And no I cannot afford the $1200 + week or week 1/2 with a rental car).

 

Sorry to hear this man and sorry to say that touch up paint will look like ***. You really need to have someone with skills fix it properly. You have time man, start saving your pennies.

 

Current plan of attack...

1. Find who keyed my car.
2. Paint the car in their blood.
3. Add body glitter. (got some onhand)
4. Replace Mazda emblems with the evil m.

Have you tried a car detailing shop? I've heard some might be able to help, depending on how deep the scratch is.

 

It is down to the black on the bumper and down to the metal on the side... think someone took a knife too it... too clean to be a key.

Don't think the ex-boyfriend would have done it. He has a mustang boss 302. Knows not to touch my car.
