Whats up? Finally got to test out my new daily/ autoX car. Below is an in car video of my best run of the day. Still learning the car since I am coming from a FWD platform, but this thing is a BLAST! 8 is bone stock other than a CAT - back and drop in filter.

Cool! First RTR RX8 video I've seen. Seems like you've already picked out some good lines. That downshift to first may be borderline beneficial.

At first I thought it seemed like it understeered, then it jumped out on you....and then I saw you were on SPTs. LOL

 

1st gear on street tires is not your friend. Leave it in 2nd.

Its been way to long since I have been down to Qualcomm, the patch job on the lot is looking ugly.

 

Haha ya the spts were testing my car control abilities. I was doing all kinds of testing with the car on Sunday since it was my first time running it. This video happened to be the run I tried 1st gear. It worked, but 2nd was faster through that section. I coned all my other runs so that was my fastest clean run. I dropped raw time by about a second after that run I posted. Can't wait to get it fully prepped for RTR, still researching exactly what I want to do.
