Anyone know if these lenses will fit the stock HID projector housing? Seems people over at HID Planet have had good luck with these, but I haven't been able to confirm anyone using them in an 8. According to the seller they are 66.80mm. Thanks.

I believe RotaryRasp replaced his projector lenses a few years back. Unfortunately, he no longer has an RX-8. Might be a problem having him chime in, but your best bet is to PM him.

Looks like he used original E30 lenses, so the Prisma Line lenses should fit.

 

Keep us updated on your progress. I am looking to upgrade my lenses as well. I heard S2000 lenses work great with our projectors. The color of the factory RX-8 is sufficient but it is definitely not as wide, bright, and sharp as the projectors in my CX-5 with clear lenses.

My CX-5 is lacking color quote a bit and factory color looks almost like halogen lights in projectors. The cut off is yellow . The wide, sharp, and even throw is by far one of the best I've seen on a factory projector.
