Hi all,

i didn't see any new member area to post in so I'm posting here. I'm excited to announce that I'm going to be the proud new owner of a 2009 RX8 R3!!! All the details have been finalized with the Mazda dealer, and I'm picking the car up later today!! I can't tell you how nervous yet excited I am yo!!

I've wanted an 8 since I first saw this car in 2005, I've just never been able to afford it. Then my friend goes and beats me to the punch in 2010 when he got his Nemesis. I hope to be an active member on this forum for a long time, and I no doubt will be very happy with my purchase!!

will do. just got the car yesterday afternoon, been driving around and i have to say, i'm more impressed now than i was on the test drive. i barely have my foot down and the car just goes. granted it hasn't got the most torque among sports cars, even my old rover 45 accelerated a bit quicker and it was only 108bhp.

what i've found is the most torque is reserved for the higher revs, and once i got to 70mph, the car just shot up to 121 before i realised it lol. very very happy with this car. i will be posting pictures soon!!
