I need a new catalytic converter..
Magnaflow sells a boltup 49-state cat/midpipe setup for about $350. I'm not aware of any CARB-compliant aftermarket choices (though the Cali members may) other than OEM dealer, $1100 with core.

Not a clue. I run a metallic-substrate cat, Magnaflow #59959 on a very modified exhaust. $100 and no CEL, but I doubt it would pass a Cali sniffer or visual inspection. 20k miles on it so far.
I assume you've replaced ignition components. It's important to fix the cause of the cat failing rather than bolting a new one on and have it fail again for the same reason.

33k
my zip is 36264
The only problem(not sure if it's an actual problem) I left it outside for a couple weeks before bringing it in the house. It looks good but it rained a lot during that time period. I doubt that would mess it up but i thought i should mention it

Thanks
Just had smog done on the car yesterday. Passed with flying colors.
They used a snorkel still. Cali smog test.
Been starting a little hard when warm lately.
Checking plugs next weekend.
