My right hand door sub is buzzing something fierce. I took apart the door panel to check the speaker and the issue appears to be internal; no cracks to be seen.

Just on eBay to source another speaker (anybody have one they want to sell?), and there are 2 types of Bose speakers shown by sellers. My speaker has the alloy 'grid' on the front of it (like the first one pictured), but others shown do not. What the difference between the 2?

 

The left hand one has the BOSE amp built into it, the other one has the amp separate.
