Model - VIN # Help

Ive searched for threads about how to check for sure what kind of model rx8 plus if its jdm or not but cant seem to find them would anyone be able to fire me in the right direction please.

Also the coolant bottle sensor on my rx8 seems to be shot and having it hooked up produces the red coolant light warning, yet with it removed i have the check engine light so with it hooked up all i get is the coolant light unhooked i get the engine light
which is weird because having a racing beat exhaust and cat wouldnt it produce the engine light constantly as the rear o2 sensor wont get a correct reading?

thanks

Simple, What is the first 3 letters of your vehicles VIN number?

JM_?

Coolant Bottle sensor issues only gives you a RED 'Radiator' warning light, not a yellow 'CEL' light...your Coolant Bottle requires renewing if you do not want to have a red dash warning light.

It has NO connection to your O2 sensors or exhaust, I would suggest you get your codes read and report back with them, as the CEL light is another issue you have.

No JM0 is ADR Spec (Australian Design Rules) so you have what is called a 'General Spec' 4A region, same as Australia.

JDM means 'Japanese Domestic Market'.

JM0 is ADR Spec
JM1 is US Spec
JMZ is Europe Spec

The J means Japan
The M means Mazda
The 0,1,Z means country location.
