srs;diesel enq.

given the high compression ratio of the mazda renesis rotary engine , has anybody tried running their eight on the heavy stuff

...because, really, aren't diesel and gasoline engines completely identical except for the compression ratio?

The army has done extensive testing using heavy fueled rotary engines.
I have a PDF doc ill post shortly.
