I totaled my shinka when a lady ran a red light, and the insurance company devalued my car by 500$ saying it didn't have 4 wheel anti-locks so I'm curious

 

Anti-lock brakes? Or locking lug nuts?

You should have both, but the lug nuts are easy to replace to something less annoying, and no where NEAR $500.

4-wheel ABS is standard on every RX-8 ever made (maybe some exceptions for non-US cars out there?), and can only be disabled by pulling the ABS fuse.

 

Not the locking lugs, just anti lock brakes, they subtracted 496$ saying 4 wheel anti-lock brakes were not present. Thanks for the reply.

 

every US delivered Rx8 has ABS, its standard equipment. there is stability control (DSC) which came with the GT and Shinka packages.

 

All Rx8s probably have 4 wheel ABS. Even the later Rx7s started having 4 wheel ABS.

 

Every rx8 ever sold has 4 wheel ABS. Hell, every car sold after the early 90s probably has it.
