I have someone that can trade black/red series 1 seats into my series 2. Is there anything different about the seats or something I should know beforehand?

But why would you want to downgrade?

 

Some people complain about the back support I personal love my S1 red/black seats and wouldn't want recaros.

haha I wish they were recaros. they are basic cloth.

 

basic non powered seats are a direct swap--even the air bag hook ups.

 

If you have the recaros is the harness there for the power seats? My wife can't stand the recaros and I would like for her to ride with me occasionally.

 

My wife hates my Recaros as well. Good thing she has her own vehicle to drive, and we usually take our SUV whenever we go places together [more than likely with kids in tow], because mine are never going anywhere.

If you want to get rid of the Recaros. you will not have a shortage of people in here willing to trade seats with you, or buy them from you for a [reasonable] price.

 

My gf hates the Recaros on my 2009 R3, I have problems over long drives and my kids are messy, to say the least.

I've fitted a complete S1 leather seat and side panel set. Everything is a straight plug and play as all the wiring is there.

The adjustment on the S1 electric seats is great and we both prefer the earlier set up.
