For those interested in a great drivers ed event to test the waters, this is a good one. It is held at Roebling Road, outside Savannah, Georgia. Roebling is a nice place to start out due to the lack of walls on the outside, with lots of grass in the event you go exploring. At this time there is a ton of room in the Green group (first timers) which should translate to a great track experience. Unlike some track day events, Dark Side is a real drivers ed event. You get class time, and an instructor in the car.

This event still has a ton of room in the green group. If anyone was ever interested in a track day, with instruction to help get you started out, this is a good one. There is also talk of combined groups on Sunday which increases track time across the board.

The other groups have room as well.
