The Event

• When: November 3, 2012 9am-6pm
• Where: Harris Hill Raceway, San Marcos Texas
• Track Day: 1.8 mile course lead/follow from 9am-6pm $25.00 per 5 laps pre-pay and $35 day of event
  
• Show and Shine: Here's your chance to show off all your hard work. Stage your car at the track, check out other rides and hang out with your fellow Mazda enthusiasts!
  
  No entry fee will be charged for attending the event
• Drifting Exhibition: Roger Beasley will have some drifters on hand to provide a drifting exhibition during the event!
• Dyno Day: EMS Powered will be attending with their dyno chassis to provide dyno runs. Three pulls for $50

Def going as I am the president of Texas Speed Demons, lol....either way I would go so I can't wait to meet some of you guys!

 

I'm going for sure, I wont be showing shining or driving, but it should still be a fun day!

 

Yeah, I'll be there to run, and maybe dyno just for grins.

 

I'm registered, not sure if I'll run on the track just yet, it will depend on if I get suspension setup in time. I need to repair the adjuster on one coil over and install the adjustment cables on the rear and get the broken rear sway bar bolt drilled out and get the Hotchkis bar on.

 

Dude you should do the show and shine event.

 

I am thinking about it. Hopefully I can get the MS bumper done by then

I'm not sure yet. It was a great event and I bet it would be even bigger if we did it again next year!

 

Yes it would. The only thing I have to offer is maybe better communication. I didn't get my track ticket or raffle ticket until after the raffle And when I asked around no one knew where to get them But it was all good, I couldn't track afterall. It was a fun event though, can't wait for next year.

 

Was an awesome event, was cool seeing all the rx8's out there....i was out there with the black speed3 and my gf drove the green mazda 2 , Thanks Gwynne !!!

I always appreciate the feedback! Yes, first time around always has a few kinks to work out, but I am glad you enjoyed non-the-less! Having never been to the track or seen the set-up, it was hard to determine what kind of signage would be required. If we come out again, signage will be in full supply

If there is an event next year expect to see some of us FI guys on the track .

 

Yes and a much bigger SARX presence now that most know what to expect. The more advance notice the better for us rotaries since we break a lot
