Hey Guys, I need your advise!
My clutch pedal started make squeaking noise every time I press it.
So I took my car to the dealer ship to find out the exact cause.
The dealership said my clutch's master cylinder is malfunctioning, and it is causing the noise on my pedal.
Before leaving my car at the dealership, I wanted to visit a local auto shop to get a quote on it.
Well, the auto shop guy said master cylinder will not cause squeaking noise on the pedal.

I am confused to have two different answers.

Who is right guys?

In addition, the dealership said they lubricated my clutch pedal, and since then the squeaking noise is not as loud as before. However, the pedal feels different when I press it. It feels like it does not pop out as much as before after pressing it.
