Where are all of the 8 owners??!!

 

The Chicago owners have mostly moved to EVOLV-Chicago. You can click on the link in my sig to go there. There are a few members from Iowa but they have never organized.

Interesting. I haven't seen any 8's in davenport or Bettendorf

 

There's two silver ones, a blue and a red one that I see often, plus 2 weeks ago saw a silver one on I80 near Princeton pulled over by 2 state troopers.

Suprised no one has seen me, I usuially stalk the qc on the Illinois side moline/Rock town and the like though i do get into iowa just not as often. I drive a black 2011. Ive seen a silver, blue, and red around town. Waved at the guy in the silver one a few times. How many of us are there? Its rare to see another 8 around the quad cities. We should come up with a meet or something...

 

Pretttty sure I'm the red one, very loud 06 Shinka. Need someone to coordinate a meet.
Maybe meet at a SCCA autocross?

Some people aren't on facebook, privacy concerns. Although it is convenient.

 

The Saint Louis Rx club is pretty active. I live on the Illinois side there. I do make occasional trips up to Pella or I-City though.

 

You can set privacy pretty strict. But that's alright, I do understand. Is there an organized rotary group down there at all? Or any type of club that you know of?

Would you make a trip to Iowa? Haha. That's the likely middle point for everything for the meet I'm trying to set up. Also ditto to you on my above response questions ^

The Saint Louis group is pretty active when the weather is nice. We do some large 50ish car rotary cruises/BBQs twice a year and a few smaller meets too! We are having one on the 23rd of March I do believe.
