So, I was having a conversation with my roommate how I need to end up buying snow tires for my car. The question I asked was, "if I buy snow tires now, do you think it will be cheaper?"

What do you guys think? It is becoming fall soon so I need them in a few months.

 

Generally, yes, prices will go up later in many places. Major retailers will tend to keep prices steady, excepting temporary sales.

 

Usually in the last two weeks of any month, Discount Tire and Discount Tire Direct usually increase their rebates on certain tire purchases. I would recommend starting research now, and then comparing prices from now to a week from now, and see how much better the tire prices can get.

Also, the snow tires haven't made it to all markets as of yet, so you might have to wait a bit longer until the deals come to you, locally.

wait till the end of november or earlier december..right now not much demand on winter tires so less promo on tire itself and same with the services
when winter season getting closer, you will see lot of promos/ discount coming out..
same with the services..mounting/balancing
and if you can hold on a little bit longer, you might get the fresher tire..as those early bird get the older tires on stock..

 

Wait till Black Friday...lol
