Installed a exhaust system oil burning smell help

Hi guys, i installed a full exhaust system , speed daddy one. Manifold intake(header) ,resonator mid pipe 2.5 cat back 3.5 + k&n cold air intake short ram. It does a wonderful sound now especially when i go under bridges . Problem is no more cat soo It does smell bad mixed of fuel odor and oil burned. Friend of mine recommand me to buy a oil catch can that will help for the smell and the misfiring. Need help for this one. The recommanded me a corksport oil catch can of 750 ml

Does what really help? Of course your car is going to smell; You removed an emissions component.

Honestly ... strong enough to make your eyes water.

I don't mind it .. the wife hates it.

Reminds me of my 2 stroke snowmobile

edit:
A catch can isn't going to "fix" the smell nor will it stop the misfiring.
Your misfiring is likely due to one or more of the following:
- Coils
- Plugs
- Plug wires
- Dirty Maf (once the Maf is cleaned a catch can would help in PREVENTING it from getting dirty)
- The K&N Short Ram Air intake is notorious for causing issues, especially V1 (this is the truth)
- Dirty ESS
- Poor compression

The catch can will surely help a bit at least worth the expense?

What year is your car?
I'm pretty sure 2006 and up came with a catch can.

If it's expense you're worried about, just let it vent to atmosphere.
I used to just have a little steel screen vent attached to that nipple on the Oil Filler neck.

Just make sure you plug the tube/hole to the intake according hose or you'll have a massive vacuum leak and you don't want that.

Yup ... many members will not put a catless midpipe on entirely because of this smell.

A catch can will not solve this problem.

Good luck

Post pics when you can

Mine didn't water at all over my catless midpipe..then again I grew up in the racing scene so I'm used to it and love it.

Is it possible that your exhaust is leaking? Did you reuse the oem gaskets or did you buy brand new ones when installing all of those things?

I don't really smell anything unless I back up straight into the exhaust fumes or if I have to walk behind the car. Every now and then you get a whiff of it just idling if the wind is blowing right but I really don't mind the smell. Sometimes I feel bad for people on bikes or scooters behind me since they tend to ride my *** at red lights and have to just sit there and breathe it.

FYI, new exhaust will always have that smell as the machine oil left on it from manufactuing and storage burns off.
