Is their a way to clean/fix a bad SSV
I went into mazda today they quoted me with 1100, to replace my Secondary shutter valve. Mind was blown when they gave me the price, I have hesitation at high rpms so all signs point to SSV, anyone have an idea of how to fix this issue?? i have premixed for about 400 km now and still no improvement.
There is a DIY for it in the DIY subforum.
Usually the problem is that it's either carbon fouled or the actuator needs to be replaced. Replacing the valve itself is pretty rare, and requires removing the LIM, which is just about impossible with the engine still in the car, which is why the cost is so high for the dealer. But again, it's rare that someone actually has to go to that length.

As far as removing the SSV Valve it's a pretty extensive job for most people, but does not require removal of the LIM or the Engine.
