Dyno Tuning Day with MazdaManiac 8-4-12 (Seattle Area)
Hey guys--
The time has finally come and we're booked for a dyno tuning day with MazdaManiac on August 4th in Kent, WA at Intec Racing.
The address is:
25911 104th Ave SE
Kent, WA 98030
We have the dyno booked all day so I'll edit this space for the exact times once they're settled. Jeff is arranging his flights now and should be in the night before on Friday the 3rd.
Theoretically we have space for more folks to join for either tuning slots or dyno runs as we'll only be scheduled to consume 6 hours with the three FI builds Easy and I have been working on. That leaves two hours free on the normal schedule and 6 hours free if we opt for the extended twelve hour schedule.
Please let me know if you have any interest and we can discuss timing and fees. Flat fees are charged by MM and the dyno shop for rental of the space and hire of the person to strap the cars on so the math will follow depending on who joins and what they're doing. In general NA cars use 1 slot (one hour) and FI cars use two. Current MMCCS customers aren't charged anything more for the service but non customers are charged a discounted $150 to reup their subscription (which is good for a subsequent six months) instead of the standard $300.
Anyway I'll be around on here between now and the fourth to get everything sorted so I'll leave it at that. If you don't want to participate but just want to hang out that's cool too so come on by.
Peace.

UGH!! I have a big project going live that weekend and not sure I can make it. Please PM/Text the cost anyway just in case. Unfortunately I will not know for sure until sometime next week when we have our go/no-go meeting.

might be worth some pulls on a new dyno though.you _could_ be here physically you know..
come on over man. fi rx8 dyno day, can't get much better than that
Wow, really wish my new engine was ready to go. I don't suppose you could ask Jeff if he could bring a Cobb AP down with him, I was going to order one on the 3rd anyway, and it would be awesome if I could pick it up from him while he is here. Will he only be here for the one day?
I would love to go, at least for one pull just to see where the things are at with my ignition setup right now. Would love to know what the numbers would be, for a single pull at least, if you have any approximations.
Let me know if there is any kinda sign-up/commitment needed. Thanks!
