hears what i have on the car . stock sway bars, endlinks.
only thing i did was swap out to megan coil overs and they were good until yesterday. i had them on for about a little over 2 weeks. now theres a nasty clunking noise that started up last night when i was going home on the freeway.
checked them out today and nothing seems to be wrong and i checked all the locking collars all seem tight. and i removed everything in the trunk i still hear the clunking at high speeds i dont hear it but at low speeds its really really noticable . someone help me please!! 2004 rx8 GT 6spd . REason i went with megans because stock shocks in the rear were blown...

 

Have you checked all of the control arm bolts? If the aren't torqued correctly, they can loosen and make noise.

 

thanks for the advice but i havent touched those control arms before.
and i found the issue today after having someone jump up and down inside my trunk i saw rear shock mount nut was loose. THANK YOU MEGAN for giving me something loose.

 

Any time you install any part on your car you should inspect it before installation.

 

ill keep that in mind ; i didnt install the coil overs because my friend wanted to do it so i let him and this is what happens...
