UK Car starts, then dies seconds later..

hey guys,

I stripped out most of the engine bay to refurb a few parts, (upper intake manifold, alternator, airbox, throttle body, starter, oil pan etc), Plus completely swapped out the cars fluids..

Only problem is, now when i start it, it'll idle extremely low for a few seconds, then die.. when i try to start it again, it floods, so its getting quite tedious trying to fault find..

Ive checked all connections, ive checked the fuel pump, ive looked over all the vacuum pipes, theres no obvious signs of damage, but its hard to find a leak when the car wont even idle, it had new plugs leads and coils about 3k ago, Ive been using a slave car to help it start when ive been doing this, but it kind of sounds like the engine isnt getting enough kick from the starter to get it going properly, even though i know its spinning at about 180, this should be enough to get it going.. Ive also had 2stroke oil through the plug holes after deflooding it, it fired up, then died straight away again..

Anyone experienced something similar? All help will be greatly appreciated!

When you started the car, if you held your foot on the gas, would it still die or rev up until you took your foot off? Not sure what your issue is but I'd imagine that piece of info could help people out who want to respond to you.
