Hi all. I found a red 2009 sport with 16k miles at a dealer for 17600 + shipping/tax/title/etc. Out the door it will come to around 19500. Carfax is clean and maintenance seems decent. The only issue is that the bumper-bumper expires in 2 months. The price seems consistent with KBB and edmunds, but seems high to me given the warranty expiration coming up and prices on the way down from the spring surge.

Anyone else have any other thoughts or data points?

Are you buying it as-is? Why can't the dealer give you a 3-year bumper to bumper warranty? Just curious about the 2 months left on the bumper to bumper warranty.

 

sounds like the mazda 3 yr-36 mon Bumper-to-Bumper is going to expire...Have the vin run and make sure all TSBs are current. The 8 yr 100k mile engine core should still be in tact...never hurts to try to negotiate down...
