wow...i THINK i like the idea around that Veilside hood...hmm..pretty interesting design...

 

They look sweet. All they have to do is remove ALL of those stickers, and the grapefruit launchers from the Subarus.

iof all of those, i like the mazdaspeed version the best.. the white one next.. the red veilside is just nasty IMHO and i hate those doors.

 

Nope, The Mazdaspeed RX8 wont have over 251hp, i heard its about 35k, go and drive a 350z and then drive your 8 and you will see how much Mazda underpriced the RX8.

 

Veilside is just garbage, they turn beautiful cars into rice cars, and how can you drive an RX8 with that oversized body kit.
And the lambo doors makes it worse.

 

The Veiside lip kit is sweet (I ordered it), but the full bumper cover kit is terrible.

 

that front lip on the veilside kit is the best yet...
and the custom hood was pretty nice.. they shoulda left the doors the way they were though.. those lambo doors are good on mayube a NSX but not the rx-8

the lambo doors were done for getting attention at Tokyo Auto Salon, If VeilSide is rice, then i guess rice is holding three world racing records & countless # of design awards.

After being exhibitor in Tokyo Auto Salon for few years when I was in Japan(1997, 98, 99), you can really tell this event isn't really meant for average customers (people?).
As you can see from many pics for Tokyo Auto Salon, it is an event to show each other (vendors) to see who does the craziest modification, or who spends most money and time effort on their demo-cars. Many of the parts are not really designed for you to use on actual street, nor to be sold as a production model....

It’s just an event, so enjoy those mods that you probably won't see in actual streets.

(Of course you "will" see some of the parts actually become production too... Just like those Lambo door kits from Veilside .....)
