Hey guys.

New to the whole RX8 scene, after 5 years of desperately wanting one.

Anyways, I was in the Tesco's car park and cine back to find my drivers side door handle on the floor next to my car

Nothing seems to be broken on it, I just cant get it back in!

I can get the handle in the holes, if you understand what I mean, I just cant get it to secure in place/ link up with the actual door opening mechanism

Help?

 

you are probably the first one with a broken handle, well I mean it's not the first time that a Mazda car's handle just broke. but it won't just "on the floor" without anybody touching it

you sure no one tried to mess with your car?

anyway, a pic of the handle will be able to help.

 

First I hear of this. Pretty easy to replace though.

 

Mine fell off after it wouldn't open. I bet $20 that the tabs on the inside are broken. Order a new handle, replace.

Someone tried to open your door I think!

 

Any ideas on how I replace it?

I've literally not got any idea haha, I know i'm useless, but hey.. we all start somewhere

Yeah... seems like somebody was dumb enough to think they can open your door just by pulling on the handle real hard...
I say this because I can't comprehend a door handle simply falling off in the breeze...
