Cruising speeds, what speeds gives the best MPG?

So I've been trying to improve my MPG in my '08 MT. Recently I've driven on three tanks at around 19.5~21 MPG? I've been cursing at 65 MPH and on my last tank at 70 for a while. I want to know what trade off between travel time and MPG provides for the most economical travel, with gas prices being what they are.

You should ask yourself why you see that fuel economy first.
Then keep driving in closed loop.

Alright, I understand the concept of closed loop control. Do our cars use it? Can it be installed?

When the car is warmed up, it uses closed loop mode.
As long as you aren't running full throttle, its pretty much going to be in closed loop mode all the time once fully warmed up.

BC.
