Will Bosch EV6 injectors fit?

Hey guys,

I do have 6x Bosch EV6 CS injectors. According to the data sheet they can provide up to 640cc depending on the fuel pressure. I was asking myself if these would fit into the RX-8? They are high impedance (12 OHm) injectors and I also do have the matching plug for them, so soldering a new plug to the harness wouldn't be a problem. The question is if they would fit physically?

Yes. why would you want to? looking for a cheaper alternative to the ID's or the 2009-2012 Mazda Injectors?

I have these injectors left over from a previous project, hence I am asking.

Were you planning on fitting a turbo/SC or did you just want to fit them because you had them ?

Guys, I asked a question and instead of an answer I received three counterquestions.

Is that a joke? I just want to know if they fit physically.

Obviously I would only fit these injectors if there is a need for it, not just because I have them laying arround.

Anyway, I would be really grateful if someone could answer my simple question.

I asked questions because fitting aftermarket injectors is fraught with difficulty and you could just be creating a huge pile of crap for yourself when there are proven ways of going about increasing injector capacity .
We get a lot of guys on here wanting to fit larger injectors to an N/A car which is a complete waste of time and $. Just thought I could help you avoid making a f'up .

To answer your question - I don't know.

you would want to use Bosch EV14 as the I D alternative, EV6 is at least mid-90s technology

why not post up the length/connection sizes to help determine the answer rather than demand people give you exactly what you want?

unfortunately all my spares are out being tested and I don't recall the exact specs off the top of my head
