Got this set of wheels given to me a few months ago. I didn't want to put them on because they are 17s but now that they are on I think they don't look half bad. What do you think?

 

 

Not bad looking wheels... I would use them as winter rims.

A buddy has some like these just for track days. But the winter set idea is great too.

 

R3 wheels look better..

 

I presume they are your winter wheels... If so, then you got a great deal.

If they are replacing your R3 wheels permanently, then we need to talk.

Oh god no I'm not replacing the r3 wheels! Quite the opposite. Just as suspected they are for winter. I absolutely LOVE the r3 wheels and cringe at the idea of curbing them on a slippery winter day.

The motive behind putting them on was only that my winter beater crapped out and had to drag the 8 out of winter storage. I had initially intended on saving them for when my autocross level progresses to a point that I will run racing slicks.

Great track wheels. Light weight, strong (enough), and inexpensive to replace.

Then again, they may just be a similar looking wheel. Either way, don't look half bad in my opinion.

 

Nope. Just cheap knock-offs. They say "HD Tuning" on one of the spokes. They will be for sale soon though cuz they are too narrow.

 

Never knew it was an R3...lol
