So now i got a problem with my 8..

Got terrible growling, kinda v-tec sound and slight power loss when accelerating after the car has warmed up properly. sound comes at around 6k rpm and stays on til its close to redline. It happens when i drive with out accelerating, just normal in town cruise.. keeping car under 4k revs. And when i rev it to the redline the sound comes up at around 6ishk to 7ishk rpm. But it seems if i rev up to redline in neutral right before flooring it in gear, clears up the problem and i can accelerate with out any problem for some time then it comes up again.. Feels like somthing is clogged and needs to be cleared up before i accelerate properly.

Also the car has really hard time starting when its fully warmed up.. needs to sit around 10-15min before i can start it up.

Then info on my car.

77k km, around 45k miles.
Newly replaced - coils, plugs (may be flooded), wires, aftermarket cat, front and rear oxygen sensors, new battery.
The car has never been decarbed.
using 95 unleaded fuel
i redline nearly every day.
its 6 gear mt.

sopose to be same as OEM.. But it happened before i changed the cat..

 

I got a similar sound after I changed my cat, its a high pitch (almost like an airplane!) I hear it only on cold starts and when I go into 6th gear, getting checked out tomorrow.

I installed a Racing Beat cat..

 

^ As i said in comment before, it came before i changed the cat.. And the sound is more like growling, air sucking go-cart noise from under the hood. Not high pitched
