dash replacement

I am looking at those carbon fiber dash kits and I was wondering if anybody knows how much lighter they are than the stock pieces. I'm trying to save weight in effort to build a lightweight performance machine capable of things you could only dream of.

Carbon fiber dash kits.. let me know when you get it so I can bake a potato in your car.

(Don't bother trying to figure it out, it's just for lugerxu).

lugerxu: I said it in the other section and I'll say it again. You sound like some ricer who believes in form over function. 8 posts and your getting beat up in most of them. All of us stick together here. Back to the Honda forum with you!

You'll save HUNDREDS of pounds.

Spend the money and get a COMPLETE CUSTOM DASH KIT.

i think the carbon dash kits your looking at arent made of complete carbon fiber but stickers that look like carbon fiber that you add on causing more weight,
anyways a whole carbon fiber dask kit will cost you ALOT OF MONEY

From: AL/GA...you pick
no no no./.you want the stickers...they magically lighten the current dash components when applied...and they make potato shifters as well...if you get the illuminated one you can bake your potato as you shift...it's really neat....make sure you get the Atkins potato's though..otherwise you'll defeat the purpose of the CF sticker weight savings...
