I searched for this, couldn't find a good definition for a rough idle. I want to use it as my excuse to have my ecu flashed, since they wont do it unless i pull a CEL, engine light, or rough idle. I'm not really sure what it means as well, so its for my knowledge. Explaining that i have a rough idle would be the easiest, i think i have it, not sure. thanks a lot in advance for your help.

 

like an uneven, or halting idle... like the engine is struggling to keep itself running.
