I asking any experienced rx8 owner, what kind of front bumper I should get...

Where should I get it? Im looking to spend around 400$ maybe...

I have a pearl white 2005 rx8.

What plans I have for it is to have the very bottom a light blue (a inch or so) and then have it fade into the pearl white....) idk why just what I want. lol Ill photoshop a pic to show you guys a better understanding /.

Well...if you really want our opinions on what front bumper to get, then get a Mazdaspeed, the best looking one out there.

 

Mazdaspeed is the easiest, I got one mostly based on the fact that it's an OEM part so it you get in a collision insurance will pay to replace it.

 

just curious but if you get a replica... how would they ever know

granted you would have to provide a receipt from the dealer but dealers dont carry them anymore, so if you were to buy a used oem part second hand there wouldnt be a receipt and whos to say your shitty insurance agent will know the difference between a ms and replica, especially if you shave off the markings..

ive always loved the vertex front and the feed front

 

thats a pretty low budget to be honest... you have to consider paint... and paint for a pearl white is pricy. not to mention fitment if things dont fit up smoothly.

Where's the link to mazdaspeed bumpers and thats why I'm going low so I still have enough for a paint job and fitting :D but thanks guys just need some links so I can see them.

But that's the catch-22 here... If you buy a cheap bumper, it'll either look like crap, or you'll end up paying the body shop an incredible amount of labor to make it fit right.

 

well anyway, 400 covers fitment and painting without the bumper or shipping so your out of luck. at best, you manage to get a free oem bumper, and then trade that with someone who has a ms in your color plus your newly acquired oem one and give them additional 400 bucks.

how much lower is ms than the oem with the appearance lip?
