Maybe a picture will get this thread more excited about another event :D Both the ride up to the Dragon and the ride on the Dragon is a thrill. As you can see in the picture, the road is actually curved on all banks except for one (that includes a pothole created by water going under it and a nice steep bank with no trees if you mess up :D). Maybe it's because I'm from Florida that this amazes me! Only place around here that does that is the race tracks.

Got my wife's up and going. So now we have 2 ready to tackle the dragon.

 

Sadly mine had blown coolant seals and thought i could repair but the housings have suffered a lot of compressed coolant or something and pretty trashed. Gonna just buy another car and work on this one on the side converting to MT. Probably picking up friday and may be soon ready to drive it :D

Prob will sell this car after i have the white one running its the color ive always wanted just no point spending 2k on motor parts atm when i can buy a whole good car for 4k or so

 

UPDATE!!!

I have contacted Deb at nantahala village resort and she seems to be very welcoming to a small car event and seems to miss everyone! She also says that lots have contacted her and just waiting to hear something of an event planned so maybe we can work something out together with her help. Please let me know if interested! This wont be anything near the old BOTD meetups but something to get out of the house and start atleast something !

ALSO: i have purchased another rx8 that runs awesome and will be swapping the white one to manual while rebuilding the motor as money comes in, but i have something to drive for now and some parts for sale !

 

I drove the tail and Cherohala Skyway back in 2017 at DGRR (had a business trip for 3 weeks in NC back then and made it a twofer). Keep me posted.
