my mom lives in belvidere off 46. im down that way a bit thought maby we should get a meet together for a hot dog johnnys drive. im out till the spring tho, i dont drive my 8 in the winter
That must suck for you guys up north to have to store your 8s away for the winter...I would be depressed...lol :/
I don't store my 8. Entering my 5th New England winter with it.
The only car I've had more fun with in the snow was my Miata, but it's engine is blown, so back to the 8. My boss has finally stopped giving me crap about "all the trouble I'm going to have with a low slung RWD sports car in winter"
Salt doesn't bother me nearly as much any more, as it was properly protected from the start. I've had numerous people comment on how shockingly little rust is present on my 8's underside/body given that treatment. Pretty much just isolated to my exhaust.

I didn't actually. But I bought it used at 8,600 miles, the prior owner apparently being wealthy enough to shrug off a depreciation hit for the 13 months and 8,600 miles of driving, that when he traded it in for a Mercedes that the Mercedes dealer was able to price it ($32k MSRP) at $19,000 and still make a profit.
So I'm guessing whatever he did wasn't skimping.

No way man, I grew up at Hot Dog Johnny's - I also lived in the Liberty, Independence, area. That's pretty sweet.
I have my 8 for the winter, but I also have to two garages to store it in.
I'll definitely hit you up on a Johnny's run.
