So, I have had my 09 GT for about a month. It has been fine but I noticed 5th gear was a bit touchy. But, as of a couple days ago, it now grinds both going up and down to 5th. If I pause for a second it goes in fine. I'm guessing the syncro is dying. Not sure why. The colder weather seems to have made the issue crop up. Any one have any issues getting a tranny fixed or replaced with Mazda? Car only has 29K on it.

 

Well, scheduled to drop the car off Monday. They said they rebuild the trannies on these in house. Hope it's a good tech doing it.
