If your car has less than 100k miles and less than 8yrs from date of original sale.

You can get a free one from the Dealer. Mine broke a week ago and Dealer had one in stock FREE!! Car shifts better and pedal sits about 1/2" higher than before.

There was a letter on this about 6 months ago but they won't replace it until it actually snaps. Only one side snapped so I could still drive to the Dealers. Mine made a loud SNAP noise when pushing clutch in to start the car.

 

Sorry I haven't gotten back to any of you, I replaced the pedal and it was such a pain in the *** that I'm probably not going to take it out again to put this bracket on. I'm way passed the 100k mark (135k original engine).

Following this trend it will be another 2 years before I have to do that again, so I'll take my chances.

 

whats the average price on these I am interested in grabbing one. but unsure of their worth. Also is there a TSB for this?
