Cel p0420

I've been watching for about 6 months ( creepy right ). But now I need help so i"m a member... About 2,000 miles ago my 8 bottomed out, 5 miles after CEL came on. CEL code P0420; catalytic efficiency below threshhold. sooooo I'm guessing I need to replace the cat.... Correct? If so what should i get other then OEM... i've done all my own maintenance, and I'll be doing this myself as well, so since im under there i might as well go ahead and replace the exhaust as well... Talked to a guy from Pettit, he reffered my directly to this???? PR Exhaust System (EXH-SEP3-CHF) It's also 2,250$$$ I would say alittle high. HELP!!HELP!!

send them an email. They'll be able to help you with your decision.
Which replacement cat do you have?

None. All i've done Tokico D-Spec adjustable struts/shocks, strut tower bars front and back, also rewired the battery for efficiency.

If so it's more affordable. and even with the HKS Legamax Exhaust System + BHR midpipe with catalyst is only 1,550$$. but the only thing I know about BHR is the monkey. Do you have any of thier products?

yes, I have the BHR ignition. I'll also order their midpipe next year. Possibly even a few other goodies
Search around the forums. They have a very solid reputation.
