If you think for one second that your car won't be probed when you leave it at the dealership you are sadly mistaken.
This car had a camera in it.
It was only because one employees saw the camera and warned the other employee inside the car, that interrupted the searching.
The Service department did not feel there was any harm done since the search was interrupted, nor did they see a need to fire the employee.
This is a Infiniti Service department

wtf all he did was enter the car, seems he reached for something ( maybe he placed his work on the seat ) talked to a few people, drove off and brought it somewhere else and left.. lol

As for whether he stole anything or not.
That is not the point.
The point is there was an obvious "intent" to commit a theft.
The fact remains that there was no reason for this person to be in the customers center console in the process of him doing his job.
It is also obvious that other employees were aware that he is a thief
