Need input: VIS Mazdaspeed replica

Hey guys,

I was wondering if anyone on here has had any experience or know of a friend who's purchased a VIS branded mazdaspeed fiberglass replica and has had them installed? I'm looking to purchase only the side skirts and the bottom mazdaspeed rear add on and was wondering how the fitment is.

Now, I know that fitment with any kind of replica, especially fiberglass isn't that great, but I've seen people say it's great, it's sucks, etc. so I want some input from someone who actually had a kit installed and fitted on their car or know someone who did.

Thanks!

. There is no such thing as a replica that fits right, they ALL have flaws, they're ALL made with substandard materials. If they were to fit right and were constructed of quality materials it would reflect in the cost, period.

umm, did you not fully read my post? I've stated that I know they're obviously not perfect and want to know someone's experience with them. I never said anything about expecting them to fit just right. -_-

i think most people had fitment issues with the front bumper where the sidemarker lights go, as far as sides and rear go i've not heard anything bad. The sideskirts might sag overtime in the middle area although this happens to authentic mazdaspeed skirts too if installed improperly i think,

Just go Authentic, you'll be happy you did in the long run (From what I have heard, at least!)

And Canary - F*** you. I want your car

ummmmm...I did fully read your post, I'm trying to save you and your car the embarassment and frustration and wasted money that comes with buying shitty parts instead of being patient, saving up, and doing it right the first time.

Just so you know I built my car on a budget over time and with help from friends and eventually it wound up in SEMA, it's not like I'm some big baller that had gobs of cash and a million sponsors, it was quite the opposite but I wound up in the same company as 6 figure corporate car builds. For instance, it took me 2 tries (and a lot of wasted money) to get the wheels right, it took me 2 tries (and more wasted money) to get the bodykit right too, this was all in the course of the last 4-5 years. I'm trying to save you and anyone who sees this thread the headaches and wasted cash I've been through, if you don't want help then you shouldn't ask for it.

Good luck with whatever you decide, just know you get what you pay for and better results with better parts.

I still want your car, Canary

But OP, he is right. Authentic is always the way to go, even if it means getting what you want over time. The price reflects the quality of the product you would be buying, just like authentic kits are obviously more
