well carfax if anybody can do it. and cheap, I guess so? Trying to save every last penny for this car and for its maintenance it might need when if/I get it.

 

If you can't afford a Carfax, you can't afford a car.

 

get the person your buying it from get the carfax, if you end up not buying it they still have it for the next potential buyer....

no idea how much getting a carfax is, but if i remember correctly you can get like an unlimited plan or something, which would probably be worth it if your in the market for a used car.

They did away with the unlimited thing, at least its not on their site. Its 34.99 for a single report or 5 for 44.99 and you must use them within 60 days. There is also http://www.autocheck.com/ and thats 29.99 for 1 report or 44.99 for 30 days of unlimited reports.
