The automotive power supply is a special system to allow safe start ups and safe shut downs. the computer will automatically shut down programs after 30 seconds when the main power is turned off (ignition). The computer runs .5v i believe when the car is off to keep memory and its not enough to kill your battery after if the car has been sitting for a week. (its the longest my car has sat before driven) lol

good luck with sale. I don't think your price is terribly unreasonable... especially considering you already did the nav/lcd rewiring work.

 

well, i may do a part out, but give me a few weeks with a complete unit first then i will get back to you on the dash piece set up .

and thanks shelldude 900 sounds pricey but its probably half the cost of someone putting one together with operating system and the programs needed to run.

 

I consider it a steal, that navigation flip module is retarded expensive from the dealer List price is $3600

 

You may want to reconsider selling the product with a registered installation of windows xp as that is not legal...

 

the windows XP is registered along with the centrafuse program i just need to take out a few programs as listed above. (password programs)

I never got around to hiding the wires 100%, but thats where I mounted my setup and has been there for 2 years+

 

I think I picked a complete nav setup for about $600 a year or so back. You have to look hard to find one and get in quick. There's no doubt in my mind this'll sell.

 

I got mine for $300. That was before everyone ended up doing it too.
