One Man's Story

Okay so I've had my 8 for just under a year now and it's my pride and joy, a second gf without the complaining as you will...and I've been modifying it bit by bit over time. Last week I finally applied the last touch of my individual essence by customizing the stock wheels to finish the car as a package so I could start being serious and save for a house, happy that I finished spending my money on it...until some jealous ****** decided they wanted to defile it. Coming home from the gym at 8:15pm along yan yean rd, yarrambat, out of nowhere an old red Ford pulls up behind me and starts tailgating me flashing their high beams on and off dramatically and beeping their horn, freaking out I had no idea what to do! After this continued for about 30secs all I heard was a major thump at the rear of my car and I knew something had gone wrong. I went through backstreets and everything yet they were persistant at following and there was too many cars ahead to zoomzoom off, and I didnt know how many people were in the car so I couldn't pull over. Anyway they continued this same **** all the way from south morang to hurstbridge and the only way I could get away was to pull into the police station and they nearly rammed me as doing so and took off before I could get the number plate...it turns out they threw a full can of some **** at my rear bumper and made a nice dint and chip...so much for being finished spending money on my perfectly conditioned car. If that wasn't enough of a night, a cop came out of the station after hearing the situation taking place, took one look at my car and the loud rumbles emitted out of my catless exhaust system and decided I was to blame!! I am not a rough driver, I obey all laws, I'm just another car enthusiast who could spend hours looking at my baby and drive with a smile everyday yet their are ********* out their that don't allow such things...

he was driving an old ford. you should've done what you should've done with a sports car. drive recklessly and lose them with respect to other drivers. i've found out that some of the best driving against ragers is extremely aggressive driving

That may just be the worst compliment I've ever heard.

...I obey all laws...
Removing a cat and exceeding noise limits isn't exactly law abiding.

Too bad the police couldn't do anything about the guys who followed you, but lack of information (no license number) and credibility of the person making a report does affect their response.
