Formula DRIFT Enters Evergreen Speedway

Evergreen Speedway is the oldest track on the circuit and was originally built as a horse-racing track. Located in Monroe, WA, Evergreen Speedway, is only a short distance from Seattle.

The Northwest fans are some of the most die-hard drift fans in the nation. The energy and excitement is often compared to that of Irwindale and the original “House of Drift.” The event’s headline moniker, “Throwdown,” lives up to it’s name as drivers push their vehicles to the limits of the track’s banking and tight transitions through the course resulting in one of the most exciting action-packed events of the season.

Kari, you should do the SCCA drifting event on 7/31 in Bremerton. There's no girls in the pro drift circuit anymore, you could wow everyone going sideways then feed your crew a Kari cake.

 

I am trying to figure out how to make it but it just seems unlikly

 

I like how you think! Although I've never drifted before, so wow'ing is definitely not going to happen.

I was really just playing with shutter speeds. I think these were shot on 1/30 using a 85mm 1.8 lense with a filter.

 

Oh sorry, I like died after that event huh? I'm still deleting the bad ones. I have a few up. I'll post more when I get more online. Well... it was my goal all year to shoot this event and now that I've done it I feel like I need another try at it. oh well...
