Unhappy New plugs, coils, wires and still p0302 and coolant light

Hi guys,
I just replaced my plugs, coils, and wires yet CEL (p0302) keeps popping up and occasional coolant light.

Funny thing is I did coolant flush not too long ago and put new coolant yesterday.

Whenever I start the car, white smoke comes out of the exhaust.. so I'm guessing the coolant is leaking into the engine somewhere and the engine is burning off the coolant.

Maybe it's time right before the engine gets flooded for good huh?

Could be bad seals... I'm so fucked. It's under 100k but who knows what and how much dealerships will charge.. I'm sure they'll come up with anything to charge me.

Well, you might have hit the spot regarding your coolant problem. I was going to mention that it could be your sensor, but if you know that there aren't any leaks under your car and considerable amount of coolant fluid is lost after a drive and you have obvious white smoke coming out of your exhaust; then, you're probably right about the fluid leaking into the engine.

Correct. Coolant is leaking into the engine.

Warranty covers it and I should have my 8 back in 2 weeks.

Now I just need a rental car, but since it's a mechanical failure I don't think I can get one from my insurance company.

I remember last year, there was another owner who had a similar problem, it took three months to get his car up and running. He was trying to fix it himself and eventually succumb to bring his car to the dealer. It was a broken freeze plug that got him a new engine.

COOLANT LEAKING RIGHT THROUGH THE CAR

How many miles do you have on your RX-8? I only hope that you're covered under the 8 years/100,000 miles Warranty.

Outstanding; yeah, my CAT was replaced before it's 80,000 mile. Hey, good luck!

you know what's really annoying? Broken spring inside the door lock actuator... Dealership quoted $350 up to $1000. Fixed it myself for $6.

No ****, Sherlock! Man, I had that problem too and it was the driver side door! I had to use the passenger side and appear like I jacked the car every time I crawl through, I finally fixed mine after a week.

You too?! Mine was also driver side door! Pain in the *** working on it during the winter while freezing my *** off...

So Mazda of Roswell called me back and told me I needed new spark plugs... my new ones (2 weeks old) apparently got f'ed up by the old motor, but it's 2 weeks old!

And apparently I had an aftermarket "non-mazda poorly-built" flywheel, so they told me I needed new nuts and bolts. So I'm actually paying around $208 which is not bad.

Now I just need to fix my broken visor, get new mats, fix my remote key fob, fog lights, rear led corner lights, and touch-up paint.

I bought those in eBay, used... The keys are not for my car, I have yet to cut the blank keys and program the micro chip to work with my RX-8. As of now, it's just like a key FOB. If you are buying a switch blade make sure you are getting the right one.

Old FOB:
Visteon Model: 41848
FCC ID: KPU41805
IC: 4238A-12076

What you need to buy:
Visteon Model: 41525
FCC ID: KPU41788
IC: 4238A-41525
