How much does an RX8 Engine Weigh?
This comes up all the time. Herewith presented is the answer. But first, a string of keywords to assist with searches.

Answer: 210lbs undressed. I'll post dressed figures once I get it all assembled.
Hope this helps all those people trying to decide if they should put a rotary engine in their 914/miata/spitfire/locost/seven or whatever.
Alternatively, this should help those trying to decide if swapping an LS1 into their RX-7/RX-8/Rotary Pickup or whatever will achieve their desired outcome.
PIctographic evidence below. Scale was zero'd out before hanging the chain, so technically, this is the undressed weight plus the chain - about a lb or so.

21 inches long from the front of the pulley to the back of the flywheel.
17 Inches high from the ground it's sitting on to the top of that little lump that the alternator bolts to. That looks like the highest point to me. Although the convenient lifting fixtures are quite a bit higher.
12 inches wide at the front. The flywheel is wider so this dimension shouldn't be critical to anyone. Also, once dressed, it's dimension grow.
Sorry, no pics. Also these are eyeballed. I may have a giant scale to hang the motor from but I don't have a giant set of measuring calipers. Although, that might be pretty cool.
Also, I'll post the same set of figures once the engine is dressed.

Realize this thread is a million years old but it's the first hit you get on google when looking for RX-8 engine weight. I weighed a completely dressed engine today. Flywheel, Clutch, Exhaust Manifold, Alternator- 297lbs.
